Bemærkninger til Mini Project 2

Very nice work, and very nice colors in your graphs.

Remember that presentation is important, so the smarter it looks the better. Maple has a very nice tool called section that you could use in your project. (In the menu you click on Insert and then on Section).

Please remember to follow the advice you were given in the week2-lecture when turning in mini-projects. I would like to see a summary, problem statement, results, etc in your report.

What is the meaning of the constants a,b,c,d?
Which meaning can you attribute to the equilibrium (h,u)=(0,0).

For the Lotka-Volterra model with logistic growth, a more familiar form is h'=ah(1-h/K)-bhu/100, where K is the carrying capacity.

In question 5, model 1, you basically write that there is no connection between steady states and the long term behavior of the system.

In question 5, model 2 you basically write that the stable states of the system are related to the long term behavior of the system depending on the presence of prey and predators.
